Robert Ray, AIA

Senior Architect

Bob joined Hoffman Architects in 1984 and has been a valuable member of the firm ever since. Bob has planned, supervised, and coordinated numerous projects, such as medical offices, veterinary clinics, restaurants, church fellowship halls, townhouses, and new Florida Vernacular upscale beach residences over the years. He has been responsible for the multi-phase restoration of both the Tarpon Springs City Hall and the Safford House (both on the National Register of Historic Places); the 2011 renovation/ rehabilitation of the Oldsmar Historic Bank Building to become City Council space, including LEED Silver Certification; the 2013 renovation and addition to the historic Elfers School / CARES Enrichment Center; and for several other preservation related projects.

Bob has a talent for appropriately using Florida Vernacular architecture to enhance new and existing residences, and for carefully updating and restoring existing historic structures in this area.
